Emery W. Johnson, Jr., 78, of Rolling Prairie passed away December 20, 2021.
He was born February 4, 1943, in Gary, Indiana to Emery W. and Mary Ann (Sitar) Johnson who preceded him in death.
Emery married Jessica Hickman on September 30, 1978, who survives. They were married 43 years.
After high school Emery served his country as a member of the 101st Airborne in the United States Army. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and softball. He worked as a lineman for NIPSCO for 37 years. He was always active.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica; sons; Dana (Christine) Johnson, Eric (Stephanie) Johnson, and Kyle (Jackie) Johnson; daughter, Amy Johnson; grandchildren, Sophia, Chloe, and Gavin; a sister, Bonnie (Tom) Stroud; and a brother, Terry L. Johnson. He was preceded in death by brother William Johnson.
